Rookie Kaden Honeycutt Keeps Throwback Scheme Close to Home, Honoring Current Crew Chief Jason Stanley

Mooresville, NC 7/19/21 – Kaden Honeycutt has had a stellar year thus far this season in CARS Late Model Stock Car Tour competition. The Texas youngster scored his first career victory at Langley Speedway on June 5th, and currently sits just two points behind championship leader Bobby McCarty in the second position.

A lot of his success comes from his current crew chief Jason Stanley who is a former Limited Late Model racer himself. This is exactly where Honeycutt found his inspiration for his first ever Throwback 276 race on July 31st at Hickory Motor Speedway.

Honeycutt will ride in the same colors that Stanley sported in 2013 when he was behind the wheel of his own #92 Limited Late Model ride that raced mainly at the Hickory Motor Speedway, the same site of the annual Throwback 276.

Stanley too is a fellow Texan who made his way to North Carolina after being active in the Texas racing scene for multiple years. After transitioning from the driver’s seat to being the team’s decision maker, Stanley has succeeded nicely and made a name for himself currently working with Honeycutt at Justin Johnson Racing.
