Mooresville, N.C. (Aug. 22, 2023) – Following the CARS Tour LMSC event at Tri-County Motor Speedway last weekend, officials have placed driver Connor Jones on probation for the remainder of the season and fined him $500 for a conduct violation.
After an on-track incident, Jones emerged from his parked car and threw a HANS device at another vehicle under the pace laps. The act has been deemed “detrimental to automobile racing or to the CARS Tour” as stated in section 1A of the Penalties chapter of the rulebook.
