Cook Out Restaurants Joins zMAX CARS Tour as Victory Lane Sponsor

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Feb. 29, 2024) – Cook Out, the Greensboro, N.C.-based fast-food chain, has been
named Victory Lane sponsor for the zMAX CARS Tour, the series announced today.

Cook Out, founded in Greensboro, N.C., currently operates 330 stores in 10 states across the
Southeastern United States, specializing in hamburgers, milkshakes and North Carolina-style pork
barbecue. With the pact, Victory Lane ceremonies for all zMAX CARS Tour events, beginning with
Saturday’s Pro Late Model race, at Southern National Motorsports Park in Lucama, N.C., will be known
as Cook Out Victory Lane.

“We are very excited to be the presenting sponsor of Cook Out Victory Lane for the zMAX CARS Tour,”
said Jeremy Reaves, CEO of Cook Out. “This series brings a lot of great racing experiences.”

The addition of Cook Out as a participating sponsor adds to the list of supporting companies for the
zMAX CARS Tour, the premiere Late Model sanctioning body in the Southeast, said Series Director Kip
Childress.

“Cook Out’s footprint is huge across the Southeast, and the zMAX CARS Tour runs races in all but one of
the states where Cook Out operates its restaurants,” Childress said. “They are a beloved and well-known
part of the landscape in the areas in which we compete, as well as an acknowledged leader in food
service and in their communities. Our drivers, teams and officials and fans will certainly appreciate Cook
Out’s presence when they go to celebrate winning one of our races, and we are pleased to welcome
them on board.”

ABOUT COOK OUT:
Morris Reaves first opened Cook Out in Greensboro, N.C. in 1989 and Cook Out is still owned and

fresh chargrilled hamburgers and 40-plus milkshakes at all of its 330 locations, which are open late after
races, games and concerts.

ABOUT THE ZMAX CARS TOUR PRESENTED BY SOUNDGEAR:
Founded in the fall of 2014, the zMAX CARS Tour Presented by SoundGear is the Southeast’s premier
asphalt Late Model series. Now under the ownership of motorsports icons Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff
Burton, Kevin Harvick and Justin Marks, the zMAX CARS Tour began as a quality pavement racing series
based in the Carolinas and Mid-Atlantic region that featured both Late Model Stock Cars and Pro Late
Models. Both premier series race on the same night at the same track, and this unique arrangement
makes the zMAX CARS Tour the first organization of its kind anywhere in the country. Many of today’s
