The Return of Super Late Models at Tri-County with CARS Tour and Southern Super Series Produces Large Field for 2021

Mooresville, NC 9/9/21 – It’s been four years since Super Late Model machines have graced the multi-groove high banks that make up Tri-County Motor Speedway located in Hudson, North Carolina. With a combined effort between the CARS Tour and the Southern Super Series, fans in the region will be greeted with one of the largest fields of Super Late Models the region has seen in action all season long in 2021.

Only the running of the “other” HarrisonsWorkwear.com sponsored event in April at the Greenville-Pickens Speedway back in April has produced more machines then will be in attendance this weekend at Tri-County.

Just like that event, Stephen Nasse will be in attendance for this combination event looking to best the twenty car expected field. Nasse won’t be the only one returning to action as eleven of the twenty entered drivers also competed at the Greenville event in April. Nasse will be competing in both the Super Late Model and Late Model Stock division this weekend.

That leaves nine other drivers who are welcoming the opportunity to compete at the 4/10th mile track that produces some of the best side-by-side racing in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Carolina local drivers Tyler Church and former USAR Hooters Pro Cup regular Michael Ritch are ready to get back on the Tri-County Speedway racing surface this weekend.

Southern Super Series competitors Kyle Bryant, Jake Finch, and Hunter Robbins all represent the series and will look to carry their success from the Deep South up to the Tar Heel state Saturday night.

The remaining three drivers taking their chances around Tri-County seeking a win will be Daniel Dye, Tyler Tanner, and William Sawalich who will be driving for a car fielded by Hickory native and mult-time CARS Super Late Model Tour winner, Brandon Setzer.
