Justin Johnson Will Throwback to R&S Racecars Co-Founder Steve Stallings’ Late Model Stock Days for Throwback 276

Mooresville, NC 7/14/21 – Justin Johnson will pay homage to the co-founder of his current chassis builders company, R&S Racecars, in the Honeywell Home “Throwback 276” presented by Baker Distributing at Hickory Motor Speedway on July 31st.

 

Johnson’s colors will be that of Steve Stallings’ Late Model Stock Car ride that competed on a regular basis at both South Boston Speedway and Orange County Speedway during the 2000 and 2001 racing seasons. Current team sponsor GXS Wraps will provide the design and wrap of the #8 machine.

 

Stallings, along with Marcus Richmond, is the co-founder and co-owner of R&S Racecars that builds complete cars and chassis for Late Model Stock Car competitors around the region.

 

So far this season Johnson has scored a pair of CARS Late Model Stock Tour victories in his R&S Chassis and sits in the third position, just three points, out of the lead in the championship point standings.
