Five Star Bodies is offering an extra incentive for the Solid Rock Carriers CARS Tour drivers that are participating in this year’s USAR Pro Cup Throwback 225 at Hickory Motor Speedway.
The team in either the Late Model Stock or Pro Late Model Tour division that is chosen by fans to have the best appearing car in the USAR Pro Cup Throwback 225 will receive a free body package courtesy of Five Star Bodies.
CARS Tour Director of Operations Keeley Dubensky had been looking for a way to further reward teams for committing to their throwback paint schemes and was thrilled when Five Star Bodies Contingency Coordinator Chris Wiess offered to help the series accomplish that goal.
“Chris sent Jack [McNelly] and I an email saying that he loved the theme for [this year’s USAR Pro Cup Throwback 225],” Dubensky said. “This event is near and dear to everyone [with Five Star Bodies] and they wanted to be extra involved for this year.”
Wiess is excited to see the CARS Tour honor its heritage with the USAR Pro Cup Series theme in this year’s throwback event. He has always appreciated the diverse set of schemes that hit the track for this event and knew it only made sense for Five Star Bodies to reward those who go above and beyond with their concepts.

For Dubensky, having Five Star Bodies step up and play a major role in the USAR Pro Cup Throwback 225 highlights their strong relationship with the CARS Tour, which she hopes will continue to thrive long after the checkered flag flies at Hickory on Saturday night.
